SUNDAY SCHOOL
We meet each Sunday at 10:00 for Sunday School at St. Luke's. We are currently blessed with a group of very young worshipers,so many of our lessons are a combination of play-and-story or craft-and-story. We talk about Jesus and God, and we've learned about baptism and worship and kindness. The children join the rest of the congregation for communion (or a heartfelt blessing) in the church upstairs, and a closing hymn around 11:30. We welcome any children into our Sunday School group, and we could arrange transportation to and from St. Luke's, if needed.

BOOK STUDIES
Monday Lunch & Study Group meets at 12 noon. We have brown bag lunches and discuss books that relate to Christian spirituality. We are currently reading Tokens of Trust by Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury. Past book studies have included The Holy Longing by Ronald Rolheiser, The Interior Castle by St. Teresa of Avila, Diary of a Country Priest by Georges Bernanos, and Monsignor Quixote by Graham Greene.

BIBLE STUDIES
Thursday Evening Bible Study meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in Willard Hall. Taught by Fr. Paul Brannock-Wanter, this Bible study focuses for several weeks on a single book in the Bible from beginning to end. Questioning and discussion are encouraged!

OCCASIONAL STUDIES
St. Luke’s offers seasonal studies during Lent, and occasional evening discussion series and movie nights. A recent discussion series focused on both spiritual and secular aspects of death and dying, and occasional movie nights feature mainstream, secular films that have spiritual aspects (such as “Lars and the Real Girl” and “I Am Legend”). Questioning and discussion are encouraged at all gatherings, and all are free of charge.

We continue our study with a new book Called to be a Church, The Book of Acts for a New Day by Anthony B. Robinson, and Robert W. Wall. Our meetings are monthly prior to Vestry meeting. More information is here.
