Organ at St. Luke's

S. S. Hamill

St. Luke's is blessed to have an S. S. Hamill organ, Op. 135 (1870), that was rebuilt in 2006 by RUSSELL & CO. of Chester, VT. The restoration was funded by parish contributions and by grants obtained through the efforts of our previous Church Musician, Joe Grannis. The rebuilding of this instrument was the culmination of Mr. Grannis' tenure at St. Luke's, and his careful supervision of the project was an inestimable gift to the parish.

Our Hamill organ was included on the August, 2008 tour of the Organ Historical Society, and was featured on the cover of their magazine, The Tracker. A full description, along with links to a stoplist and photograph, are available HERE.
