The Stations of the Cross Celebrated every Friday
6:30 p.m. in Willard Hall

The devotion known as the Way of the Cross is an adaptation to local usage of a custom widely observed by pilgrims to Jerusalem: the offering of prayer at a series of places in that city traditionally associated with our Lord’s passion and death.

The beautiful original line drawings for the fourteen stations of the cross were created by the late Dorothy A. Mitchell, affectionately known as Doadie, a devoted parishioner of St. Luke’s for twenty-six years.  Her drawings were given as a gift to her church and were recently restored, matted and framed for use during Lent. It is fitting they be shared with her family and friends.

May this offering accompany you on your journey through the last days of Christ’s life and our solitude in Lent.

Please join us as we journey with Jesus during this holy season of Lent.
