Holiday Wreath Workshop
Reserve Quickly for Wreath-Decorating Workshops November 19-21
Entice some welcome holiday spirit by decorating an evergreen wreath at our annual wreath workshops. To provide a safe experience in these Covid-19 times, we are requiring masks and social distancing. As a result, we expanded the number of sessions, but cut the number of participants at each session in half. Please make your reservation as fast as you can to secure your wreath and preferred workshop session.
Each workshop will provide a pre-made evergreen wreath, additional varied greens, natural materials, bows, and other decorations, plus all the wire, glue guns, and equipment necessary to make the decorating fun and successful. Open to the public, the workshops will take place in Willard Hall and once again benefit both the church and the Chester Conservation Committee’s Student Environmental Scholarship Fund.
Register now to one of the following workshops: Thursday November 19, 1:00-2:30 PM or 6:30-8:00 PM; Friday November 20: 9:00-10:30 AM or 1:00-2:30 PM or 6:30-8:00 PM; and Saturday November 21, 9:00-10:30 AM or 1:00-2:30 PM.
Each session will offer inspiration and all the essentials to create a very personal, one-of-a-kind wreath. Men and women are encouraged to come alone or register with a friend or group. A $5 early-bird discount will apply to those who register and pay by Friday November 6. After that, the cost per wreath will be $50. Checks should be made out to St. Luke’s Church and mailed to Lillian Willis at PO Box 318, Chester, VT 05143.
This is a great opportunity for people to support two good causes, start getting ready for the holidays, and have fun doing it safely! Please feel free to email our 2020 wreath poster to a friend!
